Lumina Sustainable materials

fibo intercon upgraded Lumina’s B1200 plant in Greenland with new parts, a modern control system, and remote support capabilities. The visit also included team training to help optimize operations and ensure top performance.

Building in the Alps

Work is underway on the new lift stations at the summit of Piz Gloria in Switzerland. Due to the challenges of transporting concrete to such a high altitude, Ghelma purchased a mobile batching plant from fibo intercon.

Producing concrete in remote site areas

Selling fresh concrete in remote site areas is a business in itself. Nordland Betong is located in Bodø in northern Norway and produces and sell ready-mixed concrete, sand, gravel, and concrete blocks. Nordland Betong has three factories and a gravel pit within a 200 km radius.

The company has had an FS1200 since 2016, which they have been very happy with, and which has produced large quantities of concrete over the years. To increase capacity, Brothers Alfons and Roland Hartlieb chose to get an additional F1800 concrete mixing plant.

Producing concrete can be a challenge. When concrete is needed on a remote Island the challenge can be even more difficult to work out. Sjöliv Markentreprenader AB found a very good solution.
