The Process

The Concrete Block Making Process

  1. Crush demolished concrete
  2. Make recycled concrete
  3. Lay the blocks
  4. Strap the blocks
  5. Stack the blocks
  6. Sell the block to merchants

The process of manufacturing the blocks is mostly automatic and only required between 4 to 5 people operating the plant. The wrapper and stacker machines run automatically using sensors.

If you can obtain a gate fee to take the waste concrete, you will make more margin.

At full production using 400 m3 per day you can convert 192 to 440 tons depending on the mix of recycled aggregate into 40,000 blocks.

Recycled aggregate can be from:

The Plant and The Process

The F1800/F2200

The F1800 and F2200 are mobile batching plants and are designed for the production of ready-mixed and is ideal for the block manufacturing.

The productivity of the plant is dependent on the model and setup and ranges from 30 to 60 m3 per hour.

Dosing accuracy +-1-3% and +-1% with pre-weight cement

The F1800/F2200 batching plant is mounted on a metal frame with legs.

It has a concrete mixer, four separate built-in hoppers, four independent conveyors, water tank, dosing weight sensors and a computer to control the operation of the plant.

It is supplied with a high-pressure washer and the hoppers can be raised to increase capacity.

The plant can be transported on a flatbed wagon or a lorry.

From solids to cavity to the very specialised insulated concrete block, the MG24 can do it all.

 

Block Strapper

A fully automatic mobile strapping machine to work in tandem with the block machines, on similar cycle times.

This machine can strap all types of blocks and brick. Advantages of this machine include less energy being used and faster cycle time.

Increased safety when strapping damaged or broken blocks. On tests this type of machine can strap one complete cycle in 19.5 seconds.

 

Block Stacker

Fully automatic Strap and Stack machine – no operator required.

Programmed to suit block-yard – stacks up to 4 bales high and 4/6/8 bales of Hollow blocks.

Significant time saved – straps and stacks one bale of blocks in approx. 20 seconds.

Safety guards all round incorporating captive key safety locking system.

Leaves forklift operator free to load blocks onto lorry or stockpile.
